Shiraz (85%) was harvested early from our Sugarloaf Creek Vineyard and on the same day as the Pinot Noir (15%) from Salvation Hills at Rhymney. The Shiraz and Pinot Noir were pressed together then fermented and aged in stainless steel to maintain a fresh, vibrant, fruit forward style.
This dry Rosé is best drunk chilled as an aperitif and paired with light salads, light pasta, or a creamy brie. The go-to drink for a picnic or lazy summer’s afternoon.
Vibrant fresh primary fruits of squeezed watermelon, grapefruit, and citrus drives the palate. Layers of richer flavours of musk stick, and Turkish delight follow. The wine is plush with great drive that finishes with lemon rind phenolics. A fragrant Rose with lots of flavour, making it a perfect wine to enjoy in the warmer weather.
